Walker Buehler
Walker Buehler seems to be determined to become the Dodgers' "mature."
After signing with the Boston Red Sox, Buehler continued to interview local media and finally made remarks that put a "sniff" in the backs of Dodgers fans.안전놀이터
"My goal is to spend the rest of my career in Boston," Buehler said in a recent introductory video made by Boston.
Dodgers-related media, including Dodgers Way, rose up in unison. He became angry when he said he would not return to the Dodgers and stay in Boston.
"The rest of my career? It's just a big hope for a player on a one-year contract (there's also a one-year mutual option), but it's a slap in the face for all the fans who still believe Buehler should have been a Dodgers player," the Dodgers' Way responded.
The Dodgers did not extend the qualifying offer to Buehler, but reportedly offered him the same amount ($21.05 million a year) as the qualifying offer at the start of the offseason.
However, he turned it down and decided to explore the free agent market instead. He hoped that the Dodgers would offer him a multi-year contract. As the Dodgers showed reluctance, Buehler reportedly went to the free agent market and aimed for the fourth successful contract.
He signed a contract with Boston immediately after the Dodgers signed Blake Snell instead of him.
Dodgers Way said, "It's not just lip service, and if Buehler stays in Boston for a long time, it will be difficult for Dodgers fans to accept."
Buehler is a Dodgers franchise star. He underwent Tommy John surgery twice, but pitched well in the 2024 World Series.
